hi ive just got elder scrolls oblivion and there a lot of hype with this game if u intend getting this make sure its ur cup of tea as its really slow and loading times are terrible the combat is shallow as well. But thats not to say its a bad game if u like a game where u just want to pick up and have a bit of fun then this game is NOT for you.

Well Duh! This game is not pick up and play and expect to get through it in a matter of days. I don't suppose that you have played the Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind? That game requires months to complete. Hell, I've had it for three years and I still play it. But with upgrades and mods of course or it would be unbelievably boring. And if your game runs to slow, thats because your PC is not fast enough. My 'heavily' upgraded Morrowind annoys the hell out of me because my computer crashes to the desktop, slows down to a crawl and overheats my computer at a phenomenal rate. But my Computer is quite old now and has not been upgraded with anything. She's old but she's still very fast. Upgrade you computer and you shall not have that many problems with Oblivion. If you still have problems, go and visit the Planet Elder Scrolls and ask some question in order for it to run faster and stop annoying the hell out of you. I am trying to get my hands on the game myself but I am very short on money at the moment so I don't know what the game's like. Anyway, anyone try this and you will like or even love the game. Just be prepared that to train your character to Lv 124, be prepared to spend more or less a month doing so.

No harm done. But loading time is a real killer in gaming. They should make games more like Tony Hawk's American Wasteland ( no load time ).

i dont think an n64 was complete until you got all the cheats on goldeneye, properly, beat TT on every track on DKR, completed Mario Kart, and erm opened up expert mode on Lylat Wars, oh and obvious completeddZelda, and catch the underwater eel in fishing in zelda. hmm what else, lol...

Probably did. ( Guys like us have LOADS of free time, basically because we get everything done in half time ) And do you mean you completed EVERYTHING? Side quests included? From Faction Quests right down to curing some poor Redguard who got bitten by a slaughterfish in the West Gash Region north of Gnisis? ( note: this is in Morrowind ) If yes, you should be able to tell me what faction he was in or what cuirass he was wearing.
