I seem to be adding quite a few threads, but... I was looking through my cards when I suddenly thought that my gate guardian cards ( sanga suijin kazejin ) were fake. Thats because the didn't have the number code in the bottom left corner that identifies them. Now here my question. I've been looking around various websites checking these cards out and none of the GG cards have the code: WHY DON'T THE GATE GUARDIAN CARDS HAVE A NUMBER CODE IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER? p.s. are there any other cards without it?

I got a couple of Gate Guardian's and they don't have numbers. Given that one of them was purchased from BMG I'd say they were not fake.
The numbers appear to be related to the YuGiOh games - and are called passwords. Traditionally used to unlock cards in the original games.
It could be simply that the release of the games and card series coincided and they wanted to keep secret rare cards as rare as possible within the games, and so didn't give them these passwords.
Don't know really. But it's a possibility.
Just performed a quick check and Labyrinth Wall doesn't have a number either. I'm sure there are others. [was the first big ATK/DEF card I could think of ... lol]

Most rituals from the MRL series don't have numbers. Then there's Tremendous Fire and Shadow Ghoul from the MRD series. Thousand Dragon as well.
Seems like there's quite a few.
