another question about timing

OK... you know i run my lurvly ecto-burn deck, BUT what would happen if i put strike ninja, part example, ectoplasmers effect happens in the end phase, and strike ninja returns in the end phase, soooo, can i chose to activate ectoplasmer when there is no monster on the field, meaning nothing happens, then return strike ninja, giving me a monster on the field.

lol, that is confusing, but hopefully one of the bigwigs will get what i am on about.

I beleive it would form a chain, maybe this way:

Strike NInja returns to the field via his own effect,
Ectoplasmer resolves, Ninja dies.

I wouldn't have thought you could activate his effect again, seens as its the 'end phase' *que dramatic music*

If two effects can resolve at the same time, is it not up to you to choose which goes first. Similar to Cyber Jar/Dark Hole and 'When this card is sent to the graveyard ...' effects.

i agree, but both these cards end at the same time, so which one does go 1st??? to me it could be two seperate actions instead of a chain, maybe i am wrong. In this case, you could choose then.

i beleive you are allowed to choose how to resolve your own effects as an example:

During a standby phase u have phoenix in graveyard but your oppoenet has snatch steal equipped to your Don Zaloog.

Since you control phoneix and snatch must resolve during the standby phase it is up to you which way you wish to resolve.

I beleive thats the same situation here but another judge's opinion might be a good idea
