This is another scenrio that needs resolving -
You have MOF in face down def on your side of the field, your opponent has a few face up monsters and 1 face down trap card (torrential tribute), when MOF is flipped face up should torrential be activated before or after you get a spell card back from the graveyard???
This happened last night when I was dueling my borther, I flipped it and got back lightning vortex (obviously you have to show the card), once he knew which card I got back he activated torrential tribute. This doesn't seem right to me as it is the flip that activates the card so you would miss the timing of it by activating it after MOF's effect resolves.
Opinions people!!!!

i would say your right mate... you have to chain it to the summoning of MOF.. not the effect
Also, one from me, same kinda thing, Flip Guardian Sphinx face up, opponent chains torrential... do opps monsters return to hand or go to graveyard?? i am not sure myself...

I have one exactly the same as that to, if warrior lady attack legendary ju jitsu master which effect takes priority?? (i.e can warrior lady be removed or does she go to the top of your deck?)
As I can't answer my own I'm in no position to answer yours mate, sorry, but cheers for reminding me.

Thinking about your one, I would say they are destroyed, the whole chain going backwards thing. You flip they activate, but the effects are they destroy so no monsters to return. Does that make any sense to you?? I think I get what I mean.

ok d00ds you seriously need to start to understand the mistiming rule, anti summon traps have to use when the monster is summoned priority of effects are on stuff like exiled or chaos sorceror, flips get the effect after the trap has resolved because it says on torrential "when a monster is summoned etc. etc. etc." u have to chain to the flip or summon no other allowances apply.
d.d warrior lady on jujitsu master will remove jujitsu from play because d.d's effect activates first, how ever then jujitsu's effect kiks in and returns d.d to the top of the deck.

no d.d returning to your deck isnt a choice it has to be done, but removing d.d and master from play is =/

So even if Torrential is flipped immediately after MOF is Flip summoned you still get to use the effect yes?
And the chain works like this:
MOF Flip summoned
TT Flipped
Effect activated
So:
MOF effect activated
TT destroys all monsters on field
Is that correct?

well the chain resolves backwards so
TT destroys all monsters on field
then
MOF effect activated
this is because since she is flip summoned her effect activates upon summoning so normally you just get the spell you want. But because of the wording on TT it has to wait for a summon so it activates after the summon occurs hence why you can't TT jinzo
