As far as I am aware you can't summon them, i.e. dsark necrofear cannot be special summoned except by removing 3 fiends from your graveyard from play, so unless you meet the conditions they won't be summoned. Thats what I think, it might not be right though.

this is correct if a monster that needs special summoning or some otherway of summoning (ie ritual) then it can't be summoned using a hero emerges.
