Ok, i am just wondering, has anyone played a Battle City style-ruled game where the winner acquires the rarest or a good card from an opponant.
Would you concider doing something like this and what are yor thoughts on this?
I think for more serious/older players it gives dueling a bit of an edge.

Its not a bad idea but when you think of the cost some of the cards people play with its not really practicle, lets say you play some one who's main card is luster and win, you'd be taking a card that over £20 away from them, good idea but in reality its not worth it.

ah, i see... well, what i should say then is a card you put up as an ante then... a card your willing to give, it doesnt necessarily need to be from your deck, as i do understand that some people would have like BLS. But it would make it more competitive if there was a chance of losing a BLS... it would show that they are willing to take the risk, and are somewhat confident of their abilities... But like i said, mybe not ultra rare ones then, but something your willing gamble with. Bood, that is a problem yes, but thats probably because they are kids... i mean for these more "professional" duels where someone comes off as "champ" or something. of course, there would be ruling that the main focus is fun, and that if it happened, you accept your loss.

THERES NO TRADE SECRETS AND YES IF THERE WAS I WOULD NOT GIVE THEM AWAY. I JUST WONDERED BECAUSE IF YOUR OPENING BOXES I JUST WONDERED IF WE COULD GET THEM CHEAPER FOR YOU.
WE GET OUR STOCK FROM THREE SOUCES. WE OPEN BOXES WHICH WE BUY WHOLESALE. WE BUY IN LOTS OF CARDS THROUGH THE SHOP AND WE IMPORT THEM FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD( THE USA MAINLY ) THERES NO TRADE SECRETS THERE. HOW YOU SELL THEM IS WHAT MATTERS NOW THERE'S LOTS OF SECRETS I COULD TELL YOU THERE. BUT THEN THAT COMES FROM EXPERENCE IN THE FIELD AND EVEN IF I DID TELL YOU MOST LIKLY I WOULD NOT HELP MUCH AS OUR BIGGEST WINNER IS MY 3 YEARS SELLING THE PRODUCT AND MY REPUTATION. ANYONE CAN DO IT WITH COMITMENT, 3 YEARS TO SPARE AND A LOAD OF CASH......O AND ME GIVIN UP SELLING.............LOL
