Well well well, after numerous deck tweaking and non sleepage disease, I went in to this feeling like crap, and looking, well, d**n good - yeah, obv not!!

Traded some stuff wit peepz, and sat for the first round up.

Round 1:

Ross Ramsey *almighty smiter* (Vampire Lord/Phoenix)

Well Smiter, I belive it was me smiting you to the ground!!!
As I came in wit the big hitters, Airknight and Jinzo giving me good hand and field adv, BLS dropped for the win, sorry dude but the second game was pretty much the same, ownage really....lol GG Dude.

Well, after the first game i was quite confident about this game, that was, till i saw ma opening hand, 5 magics... draw, magic?? Yes.
17 magic and traps later, no monster, gg.
2nd game was better, drew some monsters, torrentialed his marauding swarm, went for the kill 1-1
3rd game was....a repeat of the first, drew.....6 monsters!!! and then went on for 3 more turns, couldn't stop swarm wit only monsters..... 1-2 GG Dude, again, lol

Round 3

The louis bug strikes again, just can't beat him in tourney play, i can pwn his ass in friendlies, and you know it dude!!! Never Mind, everything went wrong, 2-0

Lunch, time to re asses what the hell was goin on, and, i was starving.

Right, Round 4 up and i was angry with myself, never in any tournament have I been down games... so i was gonna win all my remaining ones!!!

Onto round 4.

Round 4

J.J Espinosa (Ancient Gear Golem)

Well, first of it seemed I was doing good, had advantage, kept attacking his fairy lilly, forcing him to pay, he's on 2k, im on 2,800 and boom, ancient gear golem, me, goats and mirror force...Dang, 1-0

Game 2 MUCH better, played much better drew into a flow of cards, the duel was back and forth, swords kept me back for 3 turns, but, hey, got in and won the game.

Unluckily, in the 3rd, I drew REALLY well, del duo, pot, vortex, sinister, nobleman, mst...... and played, gained immediate field and hand, and won. This kid played superb though it must be said, gg mate, enjoyed it!!!

Round 5

Gay!! Mantis is fixed, son then Dad?? I could see revenge on the cards, lol.
Well, first game, triple Duo, Mof abuse....wot can I say, easy due to the fact I lockdown his hand, sorry!!!

Next game, he was pissed!!! He handed me my butt on a plate with ben kai and a thousand attacks!!

Third game, I mainyl stayed on top, no thx to him snatching my tribe and equiping it wit everything!!!!
But I held on for the win, 2-1 *Best duels of the day, thx dude*

Round 6

Urmmmm, what can i say?? He hates me at tourneys like I hate Louis??

All in all, 4-2, placed 5th I think???

I was happy with myself after such a dreadful start!!!

Actually you stand to be corrected Matt. I ended up being placed 5th in the end. Anyway, since a topic has already been put up on this tournament I may as well do my report here.

Here we go.

Round 1:

Game 1

Anthony: 8000 - 9000 - Win
Gary: 8000 - 7400 - 5800 - 4600 - 2200 - 0

Gary did manage to go on a Cyber Jar run within a few turns and I started to get pretty worried at that point. Until I ended up with a full field of Gravekeepers and he couldn't use Shallow Grave because of it. Ran him over with my army and rang my Chief for the win.

Game 2

Anthony: 8000 - 9000 - Deckout
Gary: 8000 - Win

As you can see Gary killed me in this game with a First Turn Kill. Stood no chance.

Game 3

Anthony: 8000 - 9000 - Win
Gary: 8000 - 7700 - 5400 - 3100 - 2200 - 700 - 100 - 0

This game went the other way really since I managed to use my DDV after my first turn to render all deck thinning monsters useless.

Round 2:

Kieran Wood (Staller/Mini Rush)

Game 1

Anthony: 8000 - 7000 - 6100 - 4100 - 2400 - 1600 - Win
Kieran: 8000 - 7900 - 5900 - 5200 - 4900 - 4600 - Deckout

For the majority of this game he stalled the field and I was starting to get annoyed with myself cause I had no control. When I realised that he was very thin on deck I tried some stalling of my own for a very narrow victory.

Game 2

Anthony: 8000 - 7100 - Win
Kieran: 8000 - 7900 - 6400 - 4000 - 2000 - 1700 - 0

Managed to make a good side deck for this game. Used Mobius to remove his first stall. Then got out my DDV and he kept on drawing low atk monsters even with drawing power.

Round 3:

Game 1

Anthony: 8000 - 6000 - 2200 - 700 - 0
Ross: 8000 - 7000 - 6600 - 5100 - Win

I took a bad direct hit by Vamp & Kycoo when I was in trouble. Also, made 2 mistakes of not playing certain cards when I should have.

Game 2

Anthony: 8000 - 7950 - 7750 - Win
Ross: 8000 - 7800 - 4800 - 300 - 0

Change of fortune here. I managed a Spear Soldier rush on 2 goats in one turn. Then finished off with another overrun of Gravekeepers.

Game 3

Anthony: 8000 - 6000 - 5700 - 5400 - 2600 - 0
Ross: 8000 - 6000 - 3900 - Win

Not good really. Got stormed and lost my power-ups. Kept on top-decking thanks to Reaper and then dealt final blow by Fusllier.

Round 4:

Daniel Mitchell (Warriors)

Game 1

Anthony: 8000 - 7900 - 7400 - 4500 - 5500 - 6500 - 0
Daniel: 8000 - 7800 - 8800 - 7600 - 6600 - 6200 - 5300 - Win

This was slow and painful for me. Had no control throughout the whole game, in the end I got swarmed.

Game 2

Anthony: 8000 - 6400 - 5000 - 3400 - Win
Daniel: 8000 - 6400 - 6000 - Automatic Loss

This was unfortunate. I gained an automatic victory in this game from Tim. This was because he flipped Morphing Jar while his TER was in play. We discarded and drew new cards, he finished his turn. I only just realised he made an illegal move then. Since Tim described it as unrepairable, I had to gain the win.

Game 3

Anthony: 8000 - 7700 - 6100 - 4500 - 5500 - 6500 - 7500 - 6300 -Win
Daniel: 8000 - 5000 - 4400 - 3200 - 0

This was good and funny. We both snatched my Tribe back and forth. But, I got a swarm of monsters out and rang to break his Captain barrier.

I was happy I won this match, but part of me didn't deserve it really because of that second game. Sorry.

Round 5:

Shane Addy (Cybernetic Magician/Control)

Game 1

Anthony: 8000 - 7700 - 7300 - Win
Shane: 8000 - 6000 - 4000 - 2000 - 1500 - 0

I had the upper hand for most game really. But then, Cybernetic Magician along with 1 goat after I took out the others. However, I had a lucky break since I could of easily won a turn earlier by destroying the last goat in atk mode, instead I was so intent on killing the Magician I lost myself a bit.

Game 2

Anthony: 8000 - Win
Shane: 8000 - 7500 - 4900 - 4800 - 3300 - 0

Bad luck really for Shane. All he ever had were monsters in his hand. Managed to swarm his life points in the end.

Round 6:

vs.
Robert Tagoe (Zombies/Chaos)

Game 1

Anthony: 8000 - 6400 - 3600 - 800 - 300 - 0
Robert: 8000 - 6400 - 5400 - 5300 - 4600 - Win

This was a really quick game. Couldn't gain any power-ups to deal with his powerful zombies.

Game 2

Anthony: 8000 - 6500 - 4600 - 3200 - 1200 - 400 - 0
Robert: 8000 - 7900 - 6200 - 5400 - 5300 - Win

Better game than last time, but still couldn't get past those dam Ryu Kokkis

Overall Placing: 5th

Pros:

+ Gained some decent points from great games
+ Did some good trades

Cons:

- Just out of the prize rankings. (Again!!!!)
- Wanted my match with Robert to be a lot more competitive than it ended up being.

Cyber Space VS Gravekeepers

Managed a 1st game 2nd Turn Win, Poly'd for Cyber Twin, Heavy Storm then Limiter Removal. Well, two lots of 5600 is nasty. (Game 1 : Me)

Game Two, crap opener so had to go all out. Cyber Stein for End, then had it snatched next turn, poor Cyber Stein. (Game 2 : Opponent)

Game Three followed pretty much the same trend except I couldn't do anything really. (Game 3 : Opponent)

Result : Loss

Since I'm a lazy B@$t@r|) I won't type the rest up.... but I'll summarise.

Round 2 : Lost
Round 3 : Lost - Best Match of the day! J.J's Gear Golem / Earth Aggro deck was fantastic, he's a very clever kid. Props to him!
Round 4 : With renewed vigour after Lunch...... Lost!
Round 5 : Lost
Round 6 : Won - E-Hero deck that SHOULD have won, it was well thought out, wait until EEN, it'll be 10 times better!
Exhibition Match with Louis (thunderstruck) - 3-0 to him lol, yeah yesterday was TERRIBLE! And what really sucks is that Friday night, I beat Matt Craig all but once when he Cylinderd my Limiter'd End lol.
