[KOCW]

Hi all.

Here's another report for you to read so here it goes.

Round 1

KOCW vs Nick
Spellcasters Control vs Blue eyes deck

Game 1

KOCW : 8000 - 6400 - 5200 - 3700 - Win
Nick : 8000 - 7800 - 5400 - 1400 - 400 - 0

Nick got blue eyes out early however it left just as quick. I won when i had DMOC , phoneix and breaker out he top decked D Duo

Game 2

KOCW : 8000 - 6400 - 3400 - 2600 - Win
Nick : 8000 - 7300 - 4300 - 2700 - 1100 - 0

This time was more fun because i stalled Nick with Ojama king when he had just summoned blue eyes to the field. Once Blue eyes had gone later i got Phonix out and won

Round 2

KOCW vs JoeJoe
Spellcasters Control vs .....( dunno)

Game 1

KOCW : 8000 - 7000 - Win
JoeJoe : 8000 - 7650 - 6850 - 6800 - 5800 - 3000 - 0

I actually won which made a change. Well it was fair fast game I eventually had joe topdecking which i thinks a rare sight.

Game 2

KOCW : 8000 - 5600 - 3600 - 3400 - 1900 - 0
JoeJoe : 8000 - 7000 - 4600 - Win

After a good 6 card side deck by joejoe we started and found out it was burner cards. To quote a certain player "wave motion is a cheap way to win" 5 mins l8r i lost to wave motion cannons.

Game 3

KOCW : 8000 - 7000 - 3000 - 1400 - 0
JoeJoe : 8000 - 6600 - 5600 - 4500 - Win

This game similar to Game 2 but slightly better since i did more damage however ended the same really.

Round 3

KOCW vs Gary
Spellcaster Control vs Beast Beatdown

Game 1

KOCW : 8000 - 7700 - 6900 - 6100 - 5300 - Win
Gary : 8000 - 7000 - 6700 - 5700 - 5600 - 3200 - 0

Fairly Stright forward this game. Not much to tell.

Game 2

KOCW : 8000 - 6100 - 5100 - 3400 - 1700 - 0
Gary : 8000 - Win

This is where it started going downhill rapidly. A hand with no strong monsters and lots of m/t that slowed down the assault. Lost in the end.

Game 3

KOCW : 8000 - 7000 - 5900 - 5200 - 4000 - 500 - 0
Gary : 8000 - 7000 - 6200 - Win

Same thing happened again like in Game 2 . Someone didn't like me. LOL

Round 4

KOCW vs Rees
Spellcaster Control vs CC (Cowardly Choas)

Rees : 8000 - 6000 - Win

Not much i can remember about this round at all so ill comment here by saying that at the end of this round i need a good power shuffle.

KOCW : 8000 - 6400 - 6300 - 3300 - 0
Rees : 8000 - 7000 - 4000 - Win

Round 5

KOCW vs Hendrick
Spellcaster Control vs Horus/Mystic swordsman

Game 1

KOCW : 8000 - 7000 - 5800 - 3800 - 4800 - 3000 - Win
Hendrick : 8000 - 7400 - 5600 - 5500 - 6500 - 4700 - 5700 - 5100 - 2100 - 300 - 0

No problems really just bit of a snatch steal contest but otherwise fine

Game 2

Hendrick : 8000 - 7400 - 7200 - 5700 - Win

Got caught into a mystic LV 6 lock after i took out Horus LV8.

Game 3

KOCW : 8000 - 7200 - Win
Hendrick : 8000 - 7200 - 6100 - 0

I was getting annoyed with loosing so i did something about it. mainly direct attack with 3 mons one being master of oz.

Round 6

KOCW vs Jamie
Spellcaster Control vs Gravekeepers

Game 1

KOCW : 8000 - 7600 - 6700 - 5200 - 0
Jamie : 8000 - 7000 - 3500 - Win

Lost when MJ got flipped give Jamie all he needed to win.

Game 2

KOCW : 8000 - 7300 - 6100 - 4300 - 4100 - 3300 - 1800 - 300 - Win
Jamie : 8000 - 6400 - 6200 - 4600 - 2300 - 0

The key thing in this duel was that Jamie kindly (really he was) let me choose the target of my COTH to be phoneix. He then tried to use Tribe's effect but i used My Body As a Shield to Protect my Phoneix and kill Tribe. Nxt turn attack directly.

Game 3

KOCW : 8000 - 7200 - 6300 - 5500 - Win
Jamie : 8000 - 7900 - 7500 - 5100 - 4300 - 3500 - 1100 - 0

I got Phoneix and DMOC out fairly quickly. After a graceful charity i got Zombra and DDV so once he started his turn used DDv and he got no where. Totally Stuck.

Overall Finish position 7th (out of 10)

hey thats not bad cookie cutter decks are annoying but were i go its rare to come across, do you or does any1 else kno about a tournament in manchester thats meant to be happening on the 10th september? i could really do with finding out more info on it

Well, at least you broke even in the tournament. Just out of interest, does anyone know what a Cookie Cutter deck consists of cause I've never heard of that before?

lmao, jamie wasnt playing ccc, he was playing gravekeepers and b4 the tourney he decided he was gonna put a BLS in it, i dont reali think gravekeepers is ccc, and tim geez man rees was playing basic chaos how could u not c that and u were calling jamie's deck ccc ahh well!
