Apologies for the absence of this report. Anyways.......
This was it ...... the decider for myself wether or not i'd carry on my dueling career lol ive had a bit of a bumpy stretch of road recently with my dueling and i figured if i didnt win this then, that would be it. Harsh i know ;D
Anyways bright and early start as always, this was wierd... i was raring to go for this tourny as normally im struggling to wake up most times lol....
I was playing Horus control at this time at TD's some of the guys know of it, but the deck i took to Td's was very different in terms of structure and stratergy..... anyways to the report!!
Round 1:
Horus Control Vs. Alex *Zombies*
This match was pretty straight forward, ive never met or played him before so i was cautious in the first game..... but when he played brain control on Horus level 6, my confidence rose slightly ;D TER finished off round 1. Round 2 was pretty much the same story, but TER finished it once more........ No lock all match
i was worried.

Round 2:
Horus Control VS. Jamie *Ritual Rampage*
These matches were straight forward also... both games i established control within the first few turns... one wierd thing though was that he didnt manage to get a ritual moster in both rounds either way another win ;D

Round 3:
I really wanted to go into lunch with 3 wins so this was important for me.
Horus Control VS. Dude from bedford *Chaos*
Sorry for not catching the name
Round 1:
We were exchanging blows from the start monster took out monster etc...... but in the end i broke through and managed to take the game and his BLS with my Delinquent Duo ;D
Round 2:
I sided boarded for the anti meta approach this game.... which payed off..... i didnt hit BLS this time but TER and Tsuk won it for me

Ok Lunch hit and i was 3 up, along with 4 other dudes. the next 2 rounds were gonna be tuff as the top 4 wud be playin one another rounds 4 and 5, matt was top i was fourth lol d**n tie breakers ;D so after a decent rest and my purchase of a Morphing jar ;D i was ready to go!!
Round 4:
Horus Control Vs. Jason *Earth Anti-Meta*
Round 1 & 2
i was quite nervous as everyone knows jason is a skilled duelists....... but i managed to establish control both rounds as i was drawing the right cards at the right time, they were good duels tho i thought i was gone round 1 but i brought it back

Round 5:
Horus Control VS. Damien *Chaos*
ok this was gonna be good.... Black was telling me that he had some wiked close duels with this dude and he was running standard meta so i was looking forward to it as ive never played him before.
Round 1: the guy brings me down to leik 600 lp's for best part of 20 turns and then god knows how i did it but i stalled him and won it with TER Tsuk Lock
Round 2: was the same darn story he brings me down to 100 this time and im gasping for air at this point but i sided anti meta for this occassion which helped huuuge amounts, i checked his grave for used traps and he hadnt used his RoD yet so i was brikin it but luckily i get MoF to get me Book of moon back for insurance...... it payed off yay.... once again TER and Tsuk bringing it home ;D This was easily the best duel of the day!!

Ok this was it!!! i was 5-0 up and i needed this for the win.... last time it was this good a score i lost final round..... not this time ;D
Round 6: Final Round!!!!
Horus Control VS Rob Tagoe *Zombie/Bacon Lettuce Cheese*
i cant believe im playin this dude in the final....... pressure was huge
i wasnt wanting to mess about so we started the match quick!!!
Round 1:
This round was very slow...... i think Rob and myself were trying to figure out eachothers decks at the same time, anyways after a max slug out, horus and decree secure it.
Round 2:
After a the first round win i was happy with the result and was ready for round 2.... rob sided 5 cards i didnt sideboad any as i wanted to see if the horus lock could work once more we were both exchanging blows throught out this match, at one point i managed to morph his BLS into a gatling dragon which really helped out he managed the scapegoats and the facedowns rob was playin, he then enemy controllers it and tries to blow it up cuz he's getting that p***d with it lol but he flipped 3 tails in a row.... my face dropped
but then after all the hard work it goes down hill and he secures the second round with book of lifes and swrming the field.
Round 3:
This was really tense now!! i was close to the win as time on the matches were coming to an end we had 5 minutes and i tried my best to remember about the new time out rulings but they just werent in my head so i decided that i should side board for my anti meta approach shuffling didnt take long and we got down to it. the play that i most remember, was when i played graceful and picked up a delinquent duo, i stared at the thing for ages thinkin if it would be worth loosing 1000 LP for it when im in a soon to be time out situation in the end i dropped it and decided to play it safe.... we both were really carfeul this game.... only attacking if the field was clear etc. after about 5 turns he broke through and got himself the LP advantage.... i was paniking Big Time!! we were both top decking and he had a sangan on the field, then i top deck my sideboarded BLS i nearly died when i thought about if i had a light and dark in my graveyard ,turns out i did a TER and a magical merchant *que the cheesy grin* ;D. so i hit his sangan and his lp's for 5000 total he was down to 900 i was on 5600, time was called on that turn. so with the new time out rules chanted in my ears 3 more turns wud be carried out and then it would be decided...... rob went dont fighting like a tiger putting me on 27 at the end of the 3 turns, i managed to stall withh book of moon and scapegoat and through the skin of my teeth the match was ended and i was declared the victor.
It felt good.... i hadnt won a tourny in a whiiiiiiiiiiile!!

I cant beleive i went the whole day without loosing a match ;D
