Thoughts on my deck please?

Hi all, its been a while since I posted my deck and its changed a bit. I'm not to keen on having a themed deck as I like to go with cards that I think are good.

This is for the moment a Traditional deck:

Thats only 37 I know, just need some ideas on 3 other monster cards.

Reason for normal monsters is the 1900 attack points for 4 star monster.

Owl of luck to get my United we Stand to top of deck ready to draw.

2 feather of Pheonix's to help ensure I have field presence as much as possible.

Cards that I think could be changed:

Ring of Destruction
A few monster Cards.


What do you guys think? Please let me know, my monsters do lean towards a dark deck I suppose, maybe I could use this?

I'm pretty sure you already know this, that Monster Reborn, Mirror Force and Ring of Destruction are illegal in Tournaments. If this is not a tournament deck, then that's OK. Perhaps the D.D. Assailant would be a good addition, that way you're opponent would be losing his best monsters (as long as play them right). If you use more of D.D. cards, a good addition would be: D.D. Dynamite, Grave Robbers Retribution, and possibly Return From The Different Dimension so you can launch a powerful blow. As with your Swords of Concealing Light, try the Mystic Swordsman LV2,4 and 6 to get rid of your opponents monsters. Lightning Vortex and Swords of Revealing Light or Light of Intervention are good combos. I know you don't like deck themes, but they are essential to ensure victory against your opponent(s). If you don't like my advice, then try adding some more Gemini Elf and/or Luster Dragon. Dark Ruler Ha Des is only good if you use a Fiend Deck so if not then take it out of your Deck. I hope this was good advice. ;D

Thank you for the advice, it has been well received!!

I will check to see if I have any of those cards and take a look at them, I have been thinking about a Dark monster deck, and am currently going through my cards to see what I got to add.

i think you should drop amplifier because it will get jinzo destroyed E.G : mst , heavy storm

Oh yeah, and that too. But if you have a good counter against that kind of thing ( e.g. Curse of Darkness ) you can prevent that, but just be careful on that your Magic and Trap Zone dosen't fill up!

7 traps with jinzo and royal decree bad idea. 12 monsters drop magic to make 17 monsters 17 magic and 6 trap with royal decree. no judgement of anubis or horn of heaven.

Ok have dropped magic to 15 cards so will add 2 later.

Have taken out dark ruler ha des and added silent swordsman lv5. Still to add 4 more monster cards will do that tonight.

Hve dropped ring of destruction and horn of light.

Will add 1 more Feather of pheonix ( i really like this card and it has helped me out many times before with keeping me with field presence).

Maybe another Giant Trunade?

Will post a new thread with updated deck tonight.
