Dude you gotta listen to people, you only want 40 cards in ya deck! You've been told this on various occasians but persist with posting up these decks which you've got no hope of winning with. This deck has go no consistancy, the only tribute monsters there worth playing are jinzo and maybe total defence shogun and the non tributes i can see 15 at least that no one in their right mind would consider playing, and i won't even start on the magic and traps. I don't like to slate anyones deck so much but if you really want a competative deck listen to the advice your given there are some good duelists on this forum Matt black, KOCW, Thunder_struck, sphyonrecall to name but a few and they will tell you exactly the same. I'm a bit of a noob in all honesty and its listening to people like these that has helped me become a better duelist and now and then i beat guys like the ones i mentioned but until you can admit you don't know better you not going to get anywhere!

Ok ain't got long now but i'll cover traps. You don't want many as they've gotta be set they can easily be removed also jinzo and royal decree nuff said! Your playing traditional so traps worth playing? Well staples would be mirror force, call of the haunted, ring of destruction and possibly torrential tribute. Others worth playing are bottomless trap hole, dust tornado, solemn judgement ( great late game ), royal decree, magic cylinder, waboku and thats pretty much it there may be a couple of others that people favour but thats mainly due to the type of deck there running ie:- burn = secret barrel. There may be others you might wanna try out some of the new ones in crv have potential the earth art one in particular but keep the numbers low 6 would be optimum, hope this helps tune in next time for the next installment *SPELLS* unless anyone else would care to step in i'm getting finger cramp....LOL

as i said it wud take too long but u need help so.... basically u want to go for this in general. yur monsters need to have a blend of field control, resourceful effects and 3-4 max tributes of the hardest hitters in the game, dependent on what you decide as your favourites you then need to come up with the stratergy of the deck. most general decks nowadays that are played by stronger duelists have no real stratergy, this is why so many duelists fail, they have the strongest cards but have nothing to plan ahead for, you need to balance you magic/trap line up to a total of around 22-24 (for god sake dont follow exact numbers because it totally defeats the object of any advice i can give). then monster line up should be 16-18, the reason being for the amount of each card type is because blance of a deck will allow the deck to have consistency, if u dunt kno what that is u need a slaaaaaaap!! because your deck will be around a total of 40-41 cards i recoomend no higher, you should 95 times outta 100 be able to draw a useful and game winning hand, the use of your hand is important too, u need to be resourceful, no point having no cards in hand when your opponent has got 6, reason being, your outta lifelines if u do so, resourcefulness is leik the most important of all. the cards you put in your deck need to be helpful in pretty much any situation, this is easier to achieve than it sounds and ur deck will flow faster and stronger over powering and beating ur oponent, and dont forget that luck will save ur ass more than consistancy will, unless u live under a ladder. finally the all important, deck tsting, u aint gonna find out how well ur deck can do if ur just postin them up on this board and lettin people slate it and givin up because someone says it suks or its rong!! u need to test it, the more you test it the more easier it will be to see what cards arent worth running and this will allow u to add in cards for experimentation, alot of which brings u the answer to your problems, if it beast your mates then be happy with it, then., if u can go to a torunament, see how it goes, this will add to ur experience as a player, most general good duelist wont mind letting u watch a match, as long as u STFU, by doing this you will learn whats good whats not goo, how to handle situations, every single duelist on this planet has learnt and picked things up or copied or whatever from other duelists, as the duelists that they have watched and learnt from do so from other duelist, its kinda if u like the circle of life for yu gi oh. you watch u learn you play like they do, u progress and realise your own style of dueling, theres no point copying every deck u think is wked card for card or try to make it your ambition to be the naughty dog that nicks everyone elses ideas, dont get me wrong we all do it but this ust is anpother step to our own inventions ideas and styles, so lighten up and dont give up on ur deck if sum1 sez its pants, work it through tweak it card by card one at a time if u have to, u will become better with time. and stop posting pointless spam 216 posts and 95% has been oi's or im not, get a grip. hope that helped

And the summer tour was easy with the traditional anyone should have walked away with at least a few boosters in their pocket! I went for a few hours in MK about 20 duels won about 15. In general the duelists you'll come up against in a tourny will be better than those at the summer tour and with no traditional cards it takes alot more skill!
