i have to agree with bood.... it is hosted in "THE" line up of great successful anime, but it wont be the new pokemon or yugioh pheonomina. there were ones that didnt really catch on, cause they didnt appeal.... Digimon didnt because it was like pokemon but with one character... Beyblade didnt really take off here but is growing in Japan, and Duel masters isnt as popular as yugioh, as it tries to be yugioh and magic put together. B-Damon, the one with the balls has started to bring out the equipment, but it wont pick up cause it is too dull just firing marbles from a launcher, in a similar way of beyblade.
look back through history.... the next likey thing to catch on is beyblade, as there used to be a big spinning top fad that you launch off stings. and with the yoyo fad that came back a few years ago, it is likely that will catch on. Marbles have been played with in the past too, but marbles have never been overly popular, and didnt exactly fade out, so B-damon isnt likely to be a huge hit like pokemon and yugioh.
Dragon booster might pick on a bit, but it has no appeal what-so-ever... so i wouldnt start going mad just yet. As for collectibles in this area (TCG etc) there isnt anything yet. MERCHANDISE on the other hand, expect to see naruto and other kinds of things... but the real big thing this year, whether you like it or not, is going to be BATMAN. Trust me, it will be becuase you can look anywhere without seeing him... he has a new movie out, theres the "batman" cartoon, there is "the MODIFIED batman cartoon" where the characters look alot different, there is "batman of the future" and he is one of THE main characters in "Justice League" there is not a character in view more then him right now, so all merchandise linked to him will be sort after.
