sand moth when gets destroyed while face down by effect lets say exiled effect when he comes back does that cause a replay

hum,
not quite sure but i don't think so as the monster that attacked it already did attack it so that if u r using exiled effect theres not even going to be a replay since thats not in the battle phase

Sand Moth only comes back if it is destroyed outside of battle.
As a replay can only happen within a battle, then no a replay is not triggered.
Using LV2's effect sends it to the graveyard permanently, whereas Exiled effect will cause it to be special summoned from the graveyard.

right im a bit lost as mystic 2 is an effect where sand moth does not get flipped so why does he not come back dont mean to sound funny im just confused

Good point. And you're right. It will come back, as it was not as a result of battle, but indeed a card effect.
At least we all agree with Exiled's effect.
But it still will not trigger a replay. If it did any monster attacked by Mystic LV2 would trigger a replay, as the number of monsters has changed ... lol.
