Gearfried the Iron Knight vs Fusion Sword m blade

hi there all a bit of a tricky question gearfrieds effect says when its equipped with an equip spell card it says destroy the equip spell card but i was thinking if i equiped a fusion sword murasame blade to him would it be destroyed? due to the card saying it cant be destroyed by effects that destroy spell cards anyone got any views? cheers craig

to answer your question i use netrep and quote:

"If you equip this card to "Gearfried the Iron Knight" it is not destroyed"
