A scenario I thought of the other day, can some one tell me if I am right or not please.
If I steal some ones monsters and met it but that gets bottomless trapholed, I then tribute a monster on my side of the field for jinzo, would he be destroyed??, I imagine he wouldn't be but it did make me wonder as the cards effect was already active (like with skill drain).
And yes it would make you a bit of a plum for not bringing jinzo out first.

i would say yes it would be, unless you chain call of the caunted to summon Jinzo, as there has been two chains, not one continuous one

But what about jinzo's effect of negating the trap?, he has to be summoned to be destroyed so his effect would become active.

lol, hold on are we talking about jinzo getting destroyed??? if yes then no he wouldnt be destroyed coz the previous chain would have finished and the bottomless traphole would have gone.

and the bottomless traphole would have gone. NO it wouldn't, Bottomless is active for a whole turn.

where does it say that??? I look on netreps and it dont say anything about it lasting for the whole turn, just destroying the one monster/s which this card is activated against??
Rulings This card can remove from play multiple monsters at once, if they are Summoned simultaneously. Since this card can affect multiple monsters, it does not target. to me this sounds like it only happens once.

They're right, it lasts for the turn, i.e if I summon a monster and it gets bth'd then special summon another it will also be destroyed (as long as they are both above 1500atk of course), but would the effect work on jinzo??, he would negate it but the effect was active when he was summoned?

Ok peeps I have just checked ude about boods earlier comments, it appears that he may well be right.
If a monster is summoned by the effect of monster reborn and another by call of the haunted and bottomless traphole is activated, the monster summoned by monster reborn will be destroyed as it is the first step in the chain, i.e they were not summoned simultaneously, if we were using it our way then both would be destroyed, I think we may be wrong. Granted we won't use monster reborn but it’s the same principal if you were to use prem and call.

thats what i thought, is not a continuous card so the chain ends when the monster/s that are summond right before it was activated have left the field.
Take Sakuretsu Armor it only destroys the monster that attacks right before the card is activated not every monster that attacks that turn after its activated. the chain end when the monster leaves the field.
