At that level, all i can do is wish you luck, because it will probably be the luckiest player who wins.... unlikley. Igor Kharin Joe Whittaker Shane Addy Jamie stafford (possibly) Rob Tagoe James penicott (if he doesnt report for metagame) Zee Mushtaq (even tho he's a twat) Daryl Campbell Ashleigh Campbell Han Wei Tang Adam Krus (IMO is a hit or miss player.) I'm willing to bet that one of these players will win. And they have much more skill over luck, if the nats is won by a n00b or and underdog all the better, but my money would be on one of those in that list.

i agree, but dont you think it will be the luckiest one of those who wins... alot of players claim luck to be a huge part in these bug time tournys, anywhere onthe net any yugi forum they claim they 'lucksacked' or fluked etc etc, i agree with most but only to a certain extent, the order of the cards u draw and what u draw are definetley entirely situational. however the way that u use them are entirley different too, alot of people on here might think how else can u use a heavy storm or a ms2. basically its far more than just a game at this level, elements of luck occur definetley, i agree with that, but there is no way the luckiest will win, it will be down to the most experienced player.

i agree with you on the experiened player will prob win but as u said luck will be needed at some point. But i disagree with you on the players with the hosehold names will walk away with the top prize.A typical example is i went to a tourn and played a guy who was ranked 30 at the time dunno what he is now and i beat him 2-0 now im a unknown in the yugioh world but i cannot make alot of tourns, yet beat this so called top player. What im trying to say is that all players will stand a great chance of taking the crown.

yeh it will come down to who has got the skill to use there cards not how to play them , mean even i don't use my cards to there full potential and im sure i miss the odd move so to win a big tourney like these i reckon it willl take skill but luck will be involved and could be a great or little influence depending on the deck build of the deck.

These players are cowards, who arent capable of competing with the best in the country, they can qualify for nationals and wen they actually attend these big tournys they realise its a far bigger game than that local weekly or monthly tourny, excuses of money and travel are fine, but if someone from the age of 16 i.e me, can get to pretty much attend any tourny in the country via train or bus, then these players who 'cant' do so are seriously cowardice. the players that i listed are household names because they are the best, not becasue of their rankings, some of those players maybe highly ranked and thats because of their consistency at larger tournaments such as city's and regionals, and i kno these players personally and they're that good, trust me. their household because their the best, and like i said, i'm willing to bet money one of em will win.

Half agreed. for example - I cannot get to loads of tourneys due to my job.
