Yeah you can use him, or spirtualism, it will only return it to their hand but it cannot be negated which could put a twist on things, Jirai gumo is a good idea, but its not compulsary.

No we'll let gumo slip, its not that commonly used, so you can put it in if you wnat, unless its above a level 4, I cant remember.
