Season finale just opened up more questions ... and no answers. wft is going on.
Can't help but feel a sense of dejavu ... X-Files was the same. Series after series with more and more questions, and then finally, some answers very late on!!
Saying that, roll on spring and series II.

Ok, the main questions are, -
1. What is down the ladder in the hatch?
2. What do the numbers mean?
3. Who where the people that took Walt? (I reckon "the others")
4. What the f**k was the thing ripping up the trees that grabbed Lock?
For a season finale it was a bit of a let down to be honest, don't get me wrong it was good as Lost always is but there was so much more than should/could of happened that they didn't do, most of the episodes were flash backs to stuff we already know.
Oooooh and the geography teacher getting blown up, you can't tellme you didn't sh!t your self when the nitro went off LOL.

Lost as I see it - The french chick is not crazy, there are others on the island, I reckon we saw the first of them last night (the people that took Walt), the thing we don't know is who they are or how they got there, they could be the rest of the people from the french chicks ship or they could be other stranded people that suffered a similar fate to the lost people we know at the minute. The french chick was always going on about "it" killing the rest of her crew, may be "it" was her, may be she imagined it, or may be she was reffering to the thing that grabbed lock (I say thing as there wasn't actually anything we could see there, just a puff of black smoke), which could mean the others aren't her crew as they are all dead as she says, who knows???. I came up with an idea last night, when Lost was orginally advertised and you saw every body on the beach with the destroyed plane it was going on about one being a saint and one a sinner, one being a hero etc etc (last night we found out that Soyer is the hero, kate the sinner and a Michael the saint), anyway, every body we see week in week out is good to the bone despite what they are out side, they are good people, and everything else on the island is bad, the black thing that took lock, the others that took the french chick's baby, what if lost isn't so much about people being stranded, but more a battle between good and evil?  , it would make sense, but it could just be me thinking about it to much and may be its something a lot more simple? ?. The subject that gets me the most is the hatch, what are the numbers???, did they originate from the hatch or where they put on there as a warning to those who knew??? I originally thought that there were people in the hatch and that it may be where the numbers where originally broadcast from but now I'm not so sure, it could be that the hatch is actually an escape route for something else, they have only found the exit, the entrance is elsewhere, which could also mean they have found the hiding place of the others. I keep getting ideas about what the numbers are and who was broadcasting them, at one point I thought that each person heard themselves sending a warning from the future but that would mean one hell of a story twist and would take it too far, but hey, we have puffs of black smoke snatching people so it could well be.There is so much that could be done with this story line, lets just hope the suspecnce isn't a big let down in the end. Lets have your ides people, lets face it there is 1000's of things that the numbers etc could be but we won't know until the island tells us LOL. |

the thing which pulled lock sounded like some kind of mechanism, i hink that was created by 'the others' to keep outsiders out of their territory, but the numbers, no idea? |

Season finale left on a bit of a cliffhanger, but if you ask me, as cliffhangers go wait until you see episode 9 of season 2! Now thats a real cliffhanger!!!
I've had to wait 5 weeks for ABC to show episode 10 and it was aired last night so will be downloading it later tonight!!!!
